Fendt: A brooding presence at Cereals 2019

It might be an exaggeration to say that Fendt’s stand at the Boothby Graffoe site ranks alongside the Royal Enclosure at the following week’s big meeting at Ascot, but the general air of awe and deference among those attending either event will be similar.
The big difference, however, is that Fendt’s extensive range of machines is available to all, and, when the sums are examined, offers excellent value for money. True, Fendt products may be more expensive than some competing brands initially, but once in, the numbers start to look very encouraging.
Event-goers will find it quite easy to locate the Fendt area, as it will be dominated by a large, black combine harvester – the award-winning IDEAL model. AGCO’s innovators have developed a machine that sets new standards of design, efficiency, cut quality and speed of operation, establishing a benchmark to which others can now only aspire. Visitors will even be allowed to touch it.
Next up on the list of Fendt attention-grabbers will be the Rogator 655 self-propelled sprayer. Meticulously thought out, the Rogator delivers sector-leading application performance and is the result of more than half a century of field sprayer production at the company’s manufacturing facility in the Netherlands.
With all the power you need, together with pin-point handling, unrivalled accuracy and efficiency are achieved via section control, the variable rate facility and VarioDoc Pro. Years of testing have enabled the optimum boom position to be established, together with a degree of user-friendliness not experienced until now.
Those with a preference for trailed sprayers will have the opportunity to get up close to the latest trailed sprayers from Fendt – in this instance the Rogator 355, the third up the line in a four model range. The 355 has a 5775-litre tank capacity and a choice of boom widths in the range 24m to 30m. ‘User-friendly’ is usually near the top of the must-have features for most trailed sprayer operators, and the 355 really does tick that box.
And, finally, no Fendt presence at an event as prestigious as Cereals would be complete without tractors. Representing the company’s peerless range will be the biggest of the highly regarded six-model 700 Series – the 237hp 724 Vario. This tractor has a power-to-weight ratio of just 33kg/hp, which ensures not only great economy of fuel usage, but highly responsive and precise handling. A truly outstanding all-rounder.
We at Fendt very much look forward to seeing you on Stand 760 at Boothby Graffoe on 12th & 13th June. Top hats are not compulsory.
We look forward to seeing you at the event!
